Auditions for Children On Stage Productions
 GCT Audition Form can be downloaded here and filled out ahead of time and then brought with you to the audition; you will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader to open and print the document.
Auditions for Garland Civic Theatre's Children On Stage (COS) productions are usually on a Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at GCT offices. Either individual or group auditions are possible. Please check the web site for audition registration availability.
Auditions for plays are usually a cold reading.
Auditions for a musical are usually a cold reading and you will be asked to have both an upbeat song and a ballad prepared. An accompanist is provided but you must bring sheet music in the key you prefer. Your vocal selections may be limited to a verse of a few measures. For shows with dance, you may be asked to dance at the audition or a separate dance call may be set.
